How can I bring home a puppy?

How you do transport your puppies?

We personally deliver our puppies throughout California where we are originally from! We have a dedicated dog SUV that is purely for our dogs and pups, and personally drive them so they are in our line of sight until they arrive to you. They are transported in enclosed kennels filled with pine shavings for sanitation and comfort. It is a very easy trip and they usually sleep the whole way!

We also offer travel via airline depending on the time of year. You are also welcome to pick your puppy up in person, or we can meet you at the Idaho Falls airport so your new pup can fly on board with you!

Where are you located?

Originally from Southern California, we relocated to Eastern Idaho to have more space to raise our dogs and pups. We recently bought a new property that we are transforming into our puppy paradise, complete with a puppy whelping facility, a pond, and doggy playground! The dogs get to enjoy the snow in the winter, water in the summer, and leaves in the fall!

Once checked by our vet, puppies are selected around 6 weeks old when their features really begin to develop, in the order in which deposits were received.  We take careful note of each pups personality and match it to what each person is looking for, rather than going off of looks alone.  New puppy parents are welcome to come to our home to see the pups in person, but most typically choose via Facetime, Google Duo, or some other method of video conferencing.

How can i choose which puppy I want?

Do I have to have my puppy spayed/or neutered?

We do not sell puppies with AKC breeding rights. Based off studies, we do encourage all new owners to wait to spay or neuter their new pet until after the first heat cycle for females, and 1-2 years of age for males.

What food and supplies should I have ready?

We’ve had great results raising our pups on Purina Pro Plan Savor Chicken Puppy Food. Ultimately the food choice is up to you, but we do counsel against feeding your pup a grain free food as it has been linked to early DCM heart disease in Goldens. If your pup experiences prolonged loose stool, we recommend transitioning to a different flavor of Purina Pro Plan such as salmon or lamb, as they can sometimes have allergies to chicken. We also highly recommend a daily supplement called Fortiflora by ProPlan Veterinary. Fortiflora is a probiotic that helps with digestion, as Goldens are notorious for sensitive tummies! We also love the Furminator dog brush to help with normal shedding. It is important to check your dog’s ears frequently as they can develop build up that can lead to yeast infections in the ear. We buy Chlorhexis ear flush for our dogs which not only cleans the ear but is also a drying agent that allows for the dog to expel remaining debris when they shake their head.
